Experiencing Motion

This is a picture of a gyroscope machine with me in it. In this activity we first learned about Newtons 3 laws of motion. The first law was: An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an outside force. The second law was: Force = mass times acceleration (F=ma). The third law was: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. We did activities demonstrating Newton's 3 laws. After the activities we got to ride on the gyroscope machine. When I went on it I screamed when I went upside-down. While I was on the ride everybody sang "Happy Birthday" to me. That was really embarassing. After everybody rode on the gyroscope machine, we went on Newton's chair and I went around and around, which gave me a funny feeling in the stomach. While we were spinning we tried to throw balls at the other person across from us. I almost got one of the balls to Aaron but they all missed. It was hard to do because of the spinning motion.
